Lieutenant General Arvind Chauhan, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps, visited Batticalao and Basantar Brigade of the Bison Division to review the operational readiness of the formation.
During the visit, the GOC was briefed on key operational and administrative aspects, including initiatives being undertaken across multiple domains to enhance preparedness and efficiency. He reviewed measures aimed at sustaining high readiness levels while adapting to evolving operational requirements.

Lt Gen Chauhan also visited the Integrated All Arms Training Arena, where he witnessed live manoeuvre training and the drone warfare capabilities of the formation executed by an integrated force. The demonstration showcased effective coordination, technological integration and combat readiness. He further reviewed the operational preparedness of the Ashni Platoon, commending the personnel for their dedication, specialist skills and professionalism.

The Army Commander assessed ongoing capability development initiatives, with a focus on drone and counter-drone capabilities, operational preparations and critical infrastructure projects supporting future readiness.

Exhorting all ranks, Lt Gen Chauhan emphasised the need for rigorous and realistic training, urging the formation to continue progressing towards becoming a modern, agile and adaptive force capable of meeting emerging battlefield challenges.
