Lieutenant General Mukesh Chadda, AVSM, SM, VSM, Director General of Supplies and Transport (DGST) and Senior Colonel Commandant of the Army Service Corps (ASC), reviewed the logistic preparedness at Ahmedabad Military Station on January 9, 2026.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mukesh Chadda assessed the operational and administrative functioning of all ASC units stationed in the area. He reviewed logistics processes, supply chain efficiency, and support mechanisms that underpin operational readiness.
Interacting with officers and troops, the DGST motivated all ranks to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. He shared insights drawn from his extensive experience, emphasising the importance of preparedness, accountability, and adaptability in sustaining mission readiness.
The visit reaffirmed the Army Service Corps’ critical role in ensuring seamless logistics support and highlighted the continued focus on excellence across all echelons.
