Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, recently visited Air Force Station Bareilly to review its operational preparedness and overall functioning. On arrival, he was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

During the visit, the Air Marshal was briefed on the station’s operational activities, maintenance framework and administrative arrangements. He inspected the combat units based at the station and reviewed their recent achievements as well as future capability enhancement plans aimed at strengthening operational effectiveness.

As part of the visit, Air Marshal Manikantan inaugurated a newly constructed swimming pool, adding to the station’s welfare and recreational infrastructure for personnel and families.

Interacting with officers, air warriors and support staff, the AOC-in-C commended the station personnel for their professionalism, dedication and sustained efforts in maintaining high standards of operational readiness. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence and uphold the finest traditions of the Indian Air Force.
