A proud moment for NCC Gujarat as Sunil Kumar Kashyap, Colonel, and Ajay Cahaar, Lance Havildar, were conferred the prestigious “On-the-Spot” GOC-in-C Commendation Card during the Southern Command Investiture Ceremony held at Ahmedabad on 7 February 2026.
The honours recognised their exemplary service, professionalism and dedication.
Adding further distinction to the Directorate, JUO Riya Rajput of 3 Gujarat Battalion NCC received the Merit Card from Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command.
The recognitions underscore the high standards of leadership, discipline and service ethos upheld by NCC personnel and cadets, and reaffirm NCC Gujarat’s growing contribution to national service and excellence.
