Lieutenant General DS Kushwah, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), MG & G Area, visited the EME School at Vadodara Military Station to review its training ecosystem, infrastructure and ongoing technological advancements aimed at building a future-ready force.

During the visit, the General Officer was briefed on key initiatives aligned with the Indian Armyโs Decade of Transformation, with a strong focus on innovation, indigenisation and excellence in technical education across specialised domains. The briefing highlighted efforts to modernise training curricula in step with evolving battlefield requirements.

Lt Gen Kushwah reviewed state-of-the-art training infrastructure and was apprised of contemporary methodologies covering new-generation armament systems, small arms, optoelectronic equipment and military vehicles. Emphasis was laid on hands-on training and technology absorption to keep pace with rapid advancements in defence technology.

Commending the focused infusion of modern technology, the GOC lauded the EME Schoolโs pivotal role in shaping technically proficient and future-ready soldiers. He emphasised that institutions such as the EME School are critical enablers of operational readiness and sustainment, ensuring the Armyโs technical edge remains robust and responsive to emerging challenges.
