AMC Centre & College successfully conducted the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Course from 27–28 February and 01 March 2026 at the Officers Training College.

The specialised course equipped Medical Officers with globally recognised trauma management protocols, enhancing their ability to respond effectively to life-threatening injuries in high-intensity operational environments. The training focused on systematic assessment, rapid intervention and evidence-based trauma care practices essential for combat situations.

By upgrading professional competencies in advanced trauma management, the initiative significantly strengthens the Indian Army’s combat trauma care grid and enhances survivability on tomorrow’s battlefield.

The successful conduct of the ATLS course reaffirms the Army Medical Corps’ commitment to maintaining world-class medical standards and ensuring optimal medical support to troops in both peace and war.
