Lieutenant General Rajan Sharawat, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Rising Star Corps, conducted a review of the operational preparedness of the Fleur-De-Lis and Rising Star Air Defence Brigades, highlighting the Indian Army’s continued focus on combat readiness and technological integration.

During the review, the formations showcased modern operational capabilities, including drones and AI-enabled systems, demonstrating advancements in surveillance, situational awareness and air defence operations.

Lt Gen Sharawat interacted with troops and commended all ranks for their professionalism, high morale and unwavering dedication to duty. He appreciated the efforts of the formations in maintaining operational excellence while adapting to evolving battlefield requirements.

The review emphasised the importance of leveraging emerging technologies and strengthening air defence capabilities to ensure mission readiness and effective response to modern security challenges.
