Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of Gajraj Corps, visited the newly established Lachit Borphukan Military Station in Dhubri, Assam, to review operational readiness and infrastructure development.

During the visit, the GOC assessed operational preparedness and ongoing infrastructure projects, highlighting the importance of robust facilities in strengthening border security in the region.

The GOC also interacted with Capt (IN) Girish Kumar (Retd), Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Dhubri, acknowledging his efforts in revitalising veteran welfare initiatives in Lower Assam.
He further engaged with veterans and civil dignitaries, reinforcing the Army’s commitment to community outreach and veteran support.
