The Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre, Belagavi, conducted the ceremonial Attestation Parade of the Seventh Batch of Agniveers on May 30, 2026, with full military traditions and regimental pride.
A total of 765 Agniveers were formally attested after successfully completing their military training, marking their induction into the ranks of the Indian Army.

The parade showcased the discipline, professionalism and military bearing developed by the recruits during their rigorous training period. Marching with precision and confidence, the young soldiers demonstrated their readiness to undertake the responsibilities of military service.
Officials stated that the Agniveers underwent comprehensive training encompassing physical conditioning, weapons handling, fieldcraft, tactical drills, military values and leadership development, preparing them to meet the demands of modern military operations.

The attestation ceremony marked a significant milestone in the lives of the recruits as they pledged allegiance to the nation and committed themselves to safeguarding its sovereignty and integrity.
