Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, visited Air Force Station Bareilly from May 18 to 19, 2026.
On arrival at the station, the Air Marshal was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

During the visit, Air Marshal Manikantan flew a sortie in the Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter aircraft and reviewed operational preparedness and capability enhancement measures at the air base.
The Air Marshal also inaugurated a newly constructed Station Medicare Centre aimed at improving healthcare facilities and welfare support for Air Force personnel and their families.

Interacting with station personnel, he commended the air warriors for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment towards maintaining high levels of operational readiness.

He encouraged all personnel to continue striving for excellence while upholding the operational standards of the Indian Air Force.
