Lieutenant General Harbinder Singh Vandra, General Officer Commanding of the Madhya Bharat Area, visited Gopalpur Military Station to review the advanced training ecosystem, administrative infrastructure, and ongoing capability enhancement initiatives.
During the visit, the General Officer assessed modern training facilities and infrastructure aimed at strengthening operational readiness and future force preparedness.
Lt Gen Vandra complimented the Army Air Defence Centre for its focused efforts in training Agniveers through realistic, technology-enabled, and future-oriented methodologies designed to enhance combat effectiveness in evolving battlefield conditions.

The GOC also visited the Military Hospital Gopalpur, where he interacted with medical staff, patients, veterans, and families. He appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the medical fraternity in providing quality healthcare and compassionate support to the military community.
Officials briefed the General Officer on ongoing infrastructure upgrades and healthcare augmentation projects aimed at strengthening medical support systems and improving welfare facilities for all ranks.
The visit reaffirmed the Madhya Bharat Area’s commitment to building a future-ready force through professional excellence, modern training practices, resilient infrastructure, and comprehensive welfare initiatives.
