Four officers of the 208 CoBRA Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been promoted from the rank of Assistant Commandant to Deputy Commandant, marking an important milestone in their professional careers.
The officers promoted to the new rank are Kaushal Chaudhary, Ravi Sharma, Gambhir Singh and Bhaskar Anand. The 208 CoBRA Battalion congratulated all four officers on their promotion and extended its best wishes for their continued success in service.
A rank-pinning ceremony was organised to formally honour the newly promoted officers. Shashi Bhushan Singh Bisht, Commandant of 208 CoBRA, pinned the new rank insignia on the officers in the dignified presence of their family members.
The participation of the officers’ families made the occasion particularly memorable, recognising the support and sacrifices of family members throughout the demanding careers of personnel serving in specialised security units.
