Lieutenant General Mukesh Chadha, AVSM, SM, VSM, Director General Supplies & Transport and Senior Colonel Commandant of the Army Service Corps (ASC), visited the ASC Centre & College on June 4–5, 2026, to review training activities, infrastructure development and ongoing modernization initiatives.
During the visit, the General Officer was briefed on enhancements to training pedagogy, including the integration of modern technologies, practical learning methodologies, research and innovation aimed at preparing future logisticians for the evolving demands of military operations.

Lt Gen Chadha reviewed the training being imparted at the establishment, including the training of Agniveers, and assessed the institution’s efforts to align its curriculum with contemporary operational requirements and technological advancements.
The Army Commander appreciated the significant infrastructure development undertaken at the Centre and lauded the institution’s dynamic training initiatives designed to enhance professional competence, operational effectiveness and logistical expertise.

Interacting with instructors, trainees and staff, he commended all ranks for their dedication and commitment in maintaining the ASC Centre & College as the premier institution for training logisticians of the Indian Army.
The General Officer highlighted the critical role of logistics in sustaining military operations and emphasized the importance of continuously adapting training systems to meet future battlefield and supply-chain challenges.

Officials stated that the visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s focus on developing highly skilled logistics professionals through technology-enabled learning, practical exposure and innovation-driven training practices.
Lt Gen Chadha’s visit underscored the continued efforts of the ASC Centre & College to remain at the forefront of military logistics education and support the operational readiness of the Indian Army across all theatres of operation.
