Chief of the Army Staff, General Dhiraj Seth, felicitated Havildar Lakshay and Havildar Ujjwal Kumar Singh of the Army Rowing Node for their historic achievement of winning India’s first-ever gold medal at the World Rowing Cup.

The duo secured the gold medal in the Lightweight Men’s Double Sculls (LM2x) event at the World Rowing Cup held in Lucerne, Switzerland, marking a landmark moment for Indian rowing on the international stage.

Congratulating the two soldiers, General Dhiraj Seth praised their exceptional dedication, perseverance and sporting excellence, describing their victory as a proud milestone for both the Indian Army and the nation.
