New Delhi: Lieutenant General Manish Luthra, AVSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Kharga Corps, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational readiness of the RAM Division, reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to maintaining a high state of combat preparedness under the ethos of “Strong and Capable, Forever Ready for War.”
During the visit, Lt Gen Manish Luthra assessed the division’s operational capabilities, training standards and preparedness to respond effectively to evolving security challenges. The review focused on ensuring that the formation remains mission-ready through rigorous training, technological integration and sustained operational excellence.
Addressing the troops, the Corps Commander commended the RAM Warriors for their unwavering professionalism, dedication and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational readiness. He appreciated the division’s emphasis on realistic training, adoption of modern technologies and continuous efforts to enhance combat effectiveness.
Lt Gen Luthra highlighted the increasing importance of technological advancement in modern warfare and encouraged all ranks to remain agile, adaptable and technologically empowered. He stressed that the rapidly evolving nature of the battlefield demands continuous learning, innovation and the effective integration of advanced systems into military operations.
The GOC also urged the personnel to remain steadfast in their commitment to duty and to be fully prepared to meet emerging operational challenges with determination, resilience and resolve. He emphasised that maintaining high morale, discipline and professional competence remains essential to safeguarding national security.
The review reflects the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to strengthen operational preparedness across its formations through realistic training, technology-driven capability enhancement and a culture of excellence.
