The All India Nau Sainik Camp (AINSC) 2026 commenced with NCC cadets embarking on an intensive programme designed to strengthen discipline, leadership, teamwork and professional competence through a series of naval-oriented activities.
During the opening days of the camp, cadets participated in drill parades and firing competitions, providing them with an opportunity to demonstrate precision, confidence and military skills while fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

The training programme also featured expert lectures on Indian maritime security, Indian Naval ships and submarines, and the country’s shipbuilding industry, offering cadets valuable insights into India’s maritime capabilities and defence ecosystem.

Cadets were further introduced to aircraft carrier operations, the strategic significance of Sea Lines of Communication (SLOCs) and maritime choke points, as well as survival at sea and emerging trends in submarine warfare, making the camp a comprehensive platform for developing future leaders with a deeper understanding of maritime security and naval operations.

The camp continues to provide NCC cadets with a unique opportunity to enhance their military knowledge, leadership qualities and appreciation of the Indian Navy’s role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests.
