The Commandant of the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, inaugurated publicity displays at the OTA–Nanganallur Metro Station on 4 July 2026 in collaboration with Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL).
The initiative has been launched to enhance public awareness about life at the Officers Training Academy and showcase the opportunities, values and traditions associated with a career in the Indian Army.
Strategically placed at the metro station, the displays are designed to inspire young men and women to pursue a career in the Armed Forces by highlighting the ethos, training and leadership development imparted at OTA Chennai.
The collaborative initiative reflects the Indian Army’s continued efforts to connect with the youth, promote military service and encourage the next generation of leaders to serve the nation with honour and dedication.
