The Shatrujeet Brigade Communication Task Force deployed cutting-edge communication and surveillance systems to ensure uninterrupted medical support in a challenging disaster environment.
Drone reconnaissance was used to conduct rapid aerial mapping and identify a safe location for the field hospital, while OneWeb satellite internet restored high-speed connectivity despite widespread damage to local communications infrastructure. Tactical radio networks ensured seamless coordination among deployed teams, and advanced security surveillance systems enabled continuous monitoring of the hospital and efficient patient management.
The task force also utilised satellite communication systems to maintain secure links with higher headquarters, while telemedicine facilities connected patients in Venezuela with medical specialists in India, enabling real-time expert consultations and enhancing the quality of medical care.
By integrating advanced communications, surveillance and digital healthcare technologies with humanitarian assistance, the Indian Army demonstrated exceptional operational agility, resilience and technological capability, further strengthening India’s role in global disaster relief and humanitarian response operations.
