Bengaluru, September 28, 2026: The Senior Officers’ Course conducted at the Army Service Corps (ASC) Centre & College, Bengaluru, concluded on September 28, bringing to an end a professional military training programme focused on operational logistics and leadership.
The course was attended by officers of the Indian Army along with an officer from Jamaica, adding an international dimension to the programme and providing an opportunity for professional interaction and exchange of experiences.
The training focused on enhancing the professional expertise of senior officers in the technical aspects of operational logistics. It was also designed to prepare participants for effective command and leadership responsibilities across diverse and evolving operational environments.
Operational logistics plays a critical role in sustaining military formations during both peacetime and operations, requiring commanders to effectively manage the movement and supply of essential resources while adapting to changing battlefield requirements.
Lt Gen JK Gera, Commandant of the ASC Centre & College, delivered the valedictory address at the culmination of the course. He also felicitated officers who distinguished themselves during the training programme.
Lt Col Pratik S Fule was adjudged the Best Student of the Senior Officers’ Course in recognition of his performance during the programme.
