The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Indian Army’s Trishakti Corps visited Binnaguri Military Station, where he reviewed the formation’s operational preparedness and ongoing efforts to strengthen its combat capabilities.
During the visit, the GOC was briefed on the formation’s operational readiness, adoption of emerging technologies and various initiatives being undertaken to enhance mission effectiveness.
The interaction also focused on measures aimed at ensuring that troops and formations remain prepared to respond effectively to evolving operational requirements. The incorporation of new technologies and capability-enhancement initiatives forms part of the Army’s broader effort to adapt to the changing character of warfare.
The Corps Commander appreciated the professional standards maintained by the formation and commended the troops for their sustained efforts towards strengthening operational capabilities.

The visit highlighted the emphasis being placed on preparedness, adaptability and technology-driven capability development under the Indian Army’s “Decade of Transformation” initiative.
Binnaguri Military Station, located in West Bengal, is an important military establishment in the eastern sector. The Trishakti Corps operates under the Indian Army’s Eastern Command and is responsible for strategically significant areas along India’s northern and eastern frontiers.

The Army described the formation’s approach as “Prepared, Adaptive, Future Ready”, reflecting its focus on maintaining operational effectiveness while embracing technological and organisational transformation.
