Rear Admiral Ashish Bhargava, Additional Director General (A), Headquarters Directorate General National Cadet Corps (DGNCC), reviewed the NCC Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Directorate as part of its Annual Administrative Inspection.
During his visit to Chennai, Rear Admiral Bhargava reviewed the functioning and administrative preparedness of the Directorate and assessed various aspects related to NCC activities, training and administration.
As part of the inspection, he also visited 1 Tamil Nadu Naval Unit NCC and 1 Tamil Nadu Signal Company NCC, both located at the historic Fort St George in Chennai.
The visits provided an opportunity to review the functioning of the NCC units and their role in imparting training, discipline and leadership qualities to cadets.

Rear Admiral Bhargava is also scheduled to proceed to NCC Group Headquarters Madurai and the NCC Training Academy (NTA) at Idayapatti as part of the ongoing Annual Administrative Inspection.

The inspection forms part of the NCC leadership’s periodic assessment of directorates, group headquarters and units to ensure effective administration, training standards and operational readiness across the organisation.
