Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited the Military Hospital under his command to review its medical infrastructure, capabilities, and ongoing healthcare initiatives.
During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma was briefed on the hospitalโs operational preparedness, advanced medical facilities, and the range of healthcare services provided to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. He interacted with patients, enquired about their wellbeing, and expressed appreciation for the high standards of care maintained by the medical staff.

Commending the hospitalโs dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and support staff, the Army Commander lauded their professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to duty. He noted that the medical fraternity continues to play a crucial role in maintaining the health and morale of troops โ both in peace stations and in operational areas across challenging terrains.
Lt Gen Sharma emphasised that the welfare of soldiers remains a top priority for Northern Command and praised the hospitalโs continuous efforts toward upgrading infrastructure and integrating new technologies in military healthcare delivery.

The visit reaffirmed the Army Commanderโs appreciation of the vital role played by medical services in sustaining combat readiness and supporting the operational effectiveness of the Indian Army.
