Major General Maneesh Kukrety, SM, formally took over as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Madhya Uttar Pradesh Sub Area on 01 December 2025. The change of command ceremony was attended by senior officers and personnel from the Sub Area, marking the commencement of a new chapter in leadership.
On assuming command, Maj Gen Kukrety urged all ranks to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and dedication to duty. He emphasised the importance of strengthening operational readiness, administrative efficiency, and welfare initiatives across the Sub Area.
The appointment underscores the Army’s continued focus on effective leadership and robust management of regional operational and administrative responsibilities.
