In a proud and inspiring military ceremony, 659 Agniveers were attested into the Indian Army as they crossed the Antim Pag during the Passing Out Parade (POP) held at the Mahar Regiment Centre (MRC).
The parade, reviewed by the Commandant of MRC, showcased immaculate drill, military bearing, and the exceptional standards upheld by the regiment. The Commandant commended the young soldiers for their discipline, dedication, and outstanding turnout throughout their training.

In an emotional moment, proud parents were honoured with Gaurav Padaks, symbolising the nationโs gratitude for their support and the sacrifices made by military families. Many families witnessed with pride as their sons transformed into soldiers ready to serve the nation.

The Southern Command extended its congratulations to the newly attested Agniveers and their families, stating that their commitment, resolve, and spirit of service reflect Indiaโs strength and reinforce the Indian Armyโs mission to build a capable, motivated, and future-ready generation of soldiers.
