Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Surya Command, visited the 510 Army Base Workshop to review its crucial role in delivering base-level engineering support to the Indian Army. During the visit, he was briefed on the workshopโs extensive maintenance operations and its contribution to sustaining key military platforms.

The senior officer commended the team for its exemplary work in depot-level maintenance of strategic assets across all three services. He highlighted the workshopโs growing emphasis on indigenisation, noting that its efforts align strongly with the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the push towards reducing dependence on foreign equipment.

Lt Gen Sachdeva also appreciated the workshopโs commitment to quality, innovation, and technological advancement. He interacted with personnel and encouraged them to continue strengthening engineering capabilities to meet the evolving requirements of modern warfare and logistics support.
