Security forces on Friday apprehended an armed intruder near the International Border (IB) in the Pargwal area of Jammu district, preventing a possible security breach along the sensitive frontier.
According to officials, the intruderโidentified as Abdul Khalikโwas intercepted by alert Border Security Force (BSF) personnel during routine surveillance. He was found carrying a weapon at the time of his capture, a senior police officer confirmed.

Following the arrest, Khalik was handed over to Police Post Pargwal under Police Station Khour for further legal action and investigation.
The incident underscores the heightened vigilance of security forces along the IB, especially amid increased attempts at infiltration and cross-border movement.
