The Indian Air Force’s Training Command (HQTC) solemnly observed Vijay Diwas on 16 December 2025, commemorating India’s historic victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. A ceremonial wreath-laying event was held at the Training Command War Memorial to pay homage to the valiant warriors of the Indian Armed Forces, whose supreme sacrifices safeguarded India’s sovereignty and contributed to the creation of Bangladesh.

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, along with officers from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and senior functionaries of the Training Command, participated in the ceremony. Veterans from all three services were also present, joining in paying tribute to the martyrs.

The event celebrated the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of India’s armed forces, serving as a lasting inspiration and a proud reminder of the nation’s resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
