Air Marshal Surat Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command, visited a forward air base and an Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) in the North Eastern states on January 12, 2026, to review operational preparedness and security measures.

During the visit, the Air Marshal interacted with Air Warriors and commended them for their professionalism, dedication, and relentless efforts in maintaining a high state of readiness while safeguarding the nationโs eastern skies.

He reviewed operational aspects at the forward base and the ALG, appreciating the personnel for effectively operating in challenging terrain and conditions.

Air Marshal Singh also took time to interact with local school children during the visit, encouraging them and underscoring the Indian Air Forceโs commitment to community outreach alongside its core operational responsibilities.
