Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, Army Commander of Army Training Command (ARTRAC), visited the forward areas of the Tripeaks Brigade on January 16, 2026, to assess operational preparedness and ongoing capacity-building initiatives.

During the visit, commanders on the ground briefed the Army Commander on the prevailing operational environment, readiness levels, and measures being undertaken to enhance combat effectiveness. Particular emphasis was laid on the integration of modern technology, innovative tactical applications, and training-driven capability development at the unit level.

Lt Gen Sharma appreciated the infusion of technology and the innovative approaches adopted by troops in challenging terrain. He exhorted all ranks to continue maintaining exemplary standards of professionalism, vigilance, and preparedness to effectively meet emerging operational challenges.

The visit reaffirmed ARTRACโs focus on realistic training, technological adaptation, and mission-ready forces, underscoring the Indian Armyโs commitment to maintaining a high state of operational readiness along sensitive frontiers.
