Lieutenant General Zubin A Minwalla, Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Doctrine, Organisation and Training), visited the College of Defence Management–Integrated Defence Staff (CDM–IDS) to review its academic framework and training infrastructure.

During the visit, Lt Gen Minwalla was briefed on the conduct of the flagship Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC), along with several new initiatives undertaken by CDM–IDS to further strengthen professional military education for mid- and senior-level officers of the Armed Forces, including participants from friendly foreign nations.

Interacting with faculty members and course participants, the General Officer appreciated CDM–IDS for its sustained commitment to academic excellence, innovation in training methodologies, and its significant intellectual contribution to defence management across the tri-services.

The visit reaffirmed CDM–IDS’s pivotal role in nurturing strategic thinking, leadership, and jointness among future military leaders.
