Officers attending the Last Mile Delivery Course and students of the Army Dafadar Leadership Course from the ASC Centre & College, Bengaluru, visited Air Force Station Yelahanka on January 29, 2026.

During the visit, the trainees were familiarised with aircraft employed for last-mile logistics delivery and witnessed live airdrop demonstrations, showcasing precision aerial resupply techniques. The exercise highlighted joint Air Maintenance operations conducted by the Army Service Corps in close coordination with the Indian Air Force.

Officials said the interaction underscored the importance of jointness and integration at the junior leadership level, enabling seamless delivery of supplies and equipment to remote and challenging locations. The visit reinforced the Armed Forcesโ emphasis on interoperability, coordination and operational efficiency in sustaining troops across diverse terrains.
