In a significant step towards strengthening Tri-Service synergy, 116 Sea Trainees from the Indian Navy, embarked onboard INS Tir, along with trainees from the Indian Coast Guard onboard ICGS Sarathi, visited the Army Air Defence Centre and Army Air Defence Museum.

During the visit, the trainees were familiarised with the operational framework of Army Air Defence, gaining valuable exposure to Integrated Warfare concepts, joint training philosophies, and contemporary air defence operations. The engagement provided an in-depth understanding of how air defence elements integrate with land, sea and air forces to safeguard national airspace.

The visit also highlighted the evolutionary journey, technological advancements and combat legacy of the Corps of Army Air Defence, fostering a deeper appreciation of its critical role in modern warfare. Through professional interactions and knowledge exchange, the trainees developed enhanced awareness of cross-domain operations and interoperability.

Such initiatives reinforce mutual understanding, jointmanship and cohesive battle preparedness among future leaders of the Armed Forces, strengthening integrated response capabilities to address emerging and complex security challenges.
