Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, Army Commander, Western Command, visited the Tiger Division and Sabre Brigade to review their operational preparedness and technology-driven initiatives.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on key aspects of readiness, innovation and modernisation efforts undertaken by the formations. He interacted with officers and troops, acknowledging their unwavering dedication, professionalism and exceptional state of preparedness.
Lt Gen Katiyar commended all ranks for effectively integrating modern technologies into training and operations, reinforcing the Indian Army’s ability to respond swiftly and decisively to emerging challenges.
The visit reaffirmed Western Command’s emphasis on operational excellence, technological adaptation and sustained combat readiness in safeguarding national security.
