Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, Army Commander, Western Command, visited the Indian Military Academy and addressed the Officer Cadets at the Khetarpal Auditorium.

During his interaction, Lt Gen Katiyar shared valuable insights drawn from his extensive operational and command experience, offering guidance on leadership, professionalism and the ethos of soldiering. He emphasised the importance of integrity, discipline and commitment to duty as foundational qualities for future officers.

The Army Commander encouraged the cadets to remain focused on excellence in training, continuous self-improvement and adaptability in the face of evolving security challenges. He highlighted the critical role young officers play in leading troops by example and upholding the finest traditions of the Indian Army.
