The Panther Division demonstrated exceptional shooting skills and battlefield proficiency to emerge as the Overall Champion at the Western Command ‘Inter-Division Skill at Arms Competition’, held from March 2 to March 6, 2026.

Showcasing razor-sharp precision and outstanding marksmanship, the division also secured the Best Firer titles in both Rapid and Slow firing categories, highlighting its superior weapon-handling capabilities and training standards.
The Tiger Division delivered a strong performance in the competition and finished as the runner-up, closely contesting the top honours.

During the prize distribution ceremony, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Vajra Corps congratulated the participating formations and emphasised the importance of optimally integrating new-generation weapon systems and cutting-edge technologies with evolved tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
He also highlighted that audacious leadership, advanced training and technological integration are key battle-winning factors in modern warfare.

The competition served as a platform to enhance combat skills, precision firing and operational readiness, reinforcing the Indian Army’s focus on maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and battlefield preparedness.
