Havildar Kuldeep of the Indian Army, who was serving in the challenging high-altitude environment of Siachen Glacier, made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
The soldier from Baseli village in Badhpur block of Farrukhabad district, Uttar Pradesh, was critically injured in an avalanche while on duty in the harsh glacial terrain. Despite immediate rescue efforts and medical treatment, he succumbed to his injuries at a military hospital.
Dedicated Soldier Since 2011
Havildar Kuldeep had joined the Indian Army in 2011 through a recruitment rally in Fatehgarh. He was serving with the 872 Light Regiment Artillery, which was deployed in high-altitude areas.
Throughout his service, he was known among his peers for his discipline, dedication and commitment to the nation.
Family and Final Journey
The brave soldier is survived by:

- Wife: Priyanka Yadav
- Children: Daughter Mannat (10) and son Ram (8)
His mortal remains are expected to reach his native village in Farrukhabad, where he will be laid to rest with full military honours, as the nation pays tribute to his courage and sacrifice.
