Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, visited Srinagar and Nagrota to conduct a comprehensive review of the operational and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the visit, the Army Commander held detailed discussions with formation commanders to assess the evolving security dynamics in the region and evaluate ongoing operational measures.

The review focused on strengthening multi-domain surveillance systems, improving real-time intelligence integration, and maintaining an unrelenting vigil against security threats.
Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the importance of coordinated and synergised efforts among security forces to ensure continued peace, stability, and normalcy across the Union Territory.
