Air Marshal S Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (Training Command), visited Air Force Station Jalahalli on 24 March 2026, accompanied by Mrs Sunita Shrinivas, President AFFWA (Regional).
Ceremonial Reception and Interaction
The Air Marshal was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour and was received by Air Commodore Rohit Bhargava, Air Officer Commanding, who introduced him to key personnel at the station.

Focus on Training and Discipline
Addressing Air Warriors, DSC personnel and civilian staff, Air Marshal Shrinivas emphasised the importance of high training standards, discipline, ethos and mission preparedness in maintaining operational excellence.

Inspection of Training Facilities
During the visit, he inspected various training institutes and facilities, followed by a windshield tour of the station and its lodger units, reviewing overall infrastructure and readiness.

Promoting Inclusivity
The Air Marshal also visited Mitti Café, a well-known initiative run by specially-abled individuals, and lauded it as a powerful example of an inclusive and empowering environment.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Air Force’s commitment to excellence in training, operational readiness and social inclusivity.
