The Leadership & Management Course at the Junior Leaders Academy (JLA), Bareilly concluded on 25 March 2026, marking the successful completion of a six-week training programme.

Tri-Services and International Participation
The course was attended by Junior Leaders from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, along with participants from Friendly Foreign Countries, reflecting strong inter-service and international cooperation.

Focus on Leadership and Discipline
Addressing the participants, Colonel Vishal Kumar Singh, Officiating Commandant, emphasised the critical role of Junior Leaders in upholding Army ethos, maintaining high standards of discipline and training, and remaining ever ready for battle.
He also highlighted the importance of leadership in navigating the evolving geopolitical environment.

Best Student Award
Naib Subedar Pawar Khushal Devidas of the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment was adjudged the Best Student of the course, recognising his outstanding performance.
The course underscores the Armed Forces’ commitment to developing competent, disciplined and future-ready junior leadership across services.
