The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CDS 1 2026 provisional answer key for the examination conducted on April 12, 2026.
Candidates can now download the answer key for all sets (A, B, C, and D) from the official website and evaluate their performance before the declaration of results.

Objection Window Open
Candidates who find discrepancies in the answer key can raise objections from April 18 to April 22, 2026 through the official UPSC portal. No challenges will be accepted after the deadline.
Marking Scheme for Score Calculation
- English & GK: +0.83 marks for each correct answer
- Mathematics: +1 mark for each correct answer
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for wrong answers
- No penalty for unanswered questions
