Lieutenant General Girish Kalia, General Officer Commanding of the Spear Corps, visited the Dao Division to review operational readiness and preparedness along the Northern Borders.
During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed operational deployments and interacted with troops stationed in forward areas. He appreciated the soldiers for their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment towards safeguarding the nation’s frontiers in challenging terrain and weather conditions.

Lt Gen Kalia also paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Helmet Top Memorial in the Walong Valley, honouring their courage, sacrifice, and service to the nation.

The visit highlighted the Indian Army’s continued focus on maintaining strong operational preparedness and vigilance along strategically important border areas.
