Lieutenant General CG Muralidharan, Director General Medical Services (Army) and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps, visited the medical units of the Black Cat Division on May 18, 2026, to review operational medical preparedness and healthcare infrastructure in forward areas.
During the visit, the General Officer reviewed the progress of medical infrastructure development along the watershed areas under the Division’s responsibility.

Lt Gen Muralidharan also assessed operational preparedness, medical logistics, and combat healthcare support systems being maintained in challenging forward locations.

The DGMS Army commended the personnel for their professional competence, dedication, and steadfast commitment towards ensuring effective combat medical support for troops deployed in operational areas.

The visit highlighted the continued focus of the Indian Army and the Army Medical Corps on strengthening medical readiness, healthcare infrastructure, and logistical support in strategically important regions.
