Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander of the Northern Command, visited the general area of Gambhir Mughlan to conduct an operational review and situational assessment of Operation Sheruwali.
During the visit, the Army Commander interacted with representatives of local formations of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Intelligence Bureau, Central Reserve Police Force, and other stakeholders to review the evolving operational dynamics and further strengthen inter-agency synergy.

Lt Gen Sharma also engaged with troops deployed in the operational area and commended them for their relentless resolve, high morale, and steadfast commitment while operating in a demanding environment.
Emphasising mission focus and operational excellence, the Army Commander urged all teams to pursue operational objectives with professional acumen, precision, and a shared sense of purpose.

Officials stated that the visit reaffirmed the continued focus on coordinated counter-terrorism operations, operational preparedness, and seamless cooperation among security agencies in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
