Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, visited the Chhattisgarh and Odisha Sub Area (COSA) at Naya Raipur Military Station to review operational preparedness, administrative initiatives, and welfare measures for serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the formation’s operational responsibilities, ongoing activities, and various initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, inter-agency synergy, and outreach efforts across the region.

Lt Gen Sengupta reviewed measures undertaken to maintain a high state of readiness and assessed efforts focused on improving administrative support and welfare services for the Armed Forces community.
Interacting with officers, soldiers, and staff, he commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to duty. He appreciated the formation’s contribution towards maintaining operational effectiveness while ensuring the well-being of serving personnel, veterans, and dependants.

The Army Commander also lauded the efforts of the formation in sustaining high standards of preparedness and encouraged all personnel to continue serving with discipline, determination, and a mission-oriented approach.
Officials stated that the visit highlighted the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on operational excellence, effective administration, and comprehensive welfare support as key pillars of military readiness and organisational effectiveness.
