The Passing Out Parade was reviewed by the Commandant of the Madras Regimental Centre, who congratulated the young soldiers on successfully completing their training and joining the ranks of the Indian Army.

Outstanding performers were felicitated during the event for their exceptional achievements during training. In a touching tribute to the families behind the young soldiers, proud parents were presented Shaurya Padaks in recognition of their support, encouragement and sacrifices.

The Agniveers underwent comprehensive training designed to prepare them for the evolving demands of modern warfare. Alongside conventional military skills, they received instruction on contemporary weapon systems, drone operations and emerging battlefield technologies, ensuring they are equipped to operate effectively in a technology-driven combat environment.

Officials noted that the training programme focused on developing physically robust, mentally resilient and technologically proficient soldiers capable of meeting future operational challenges.

As they begin their military careers, the newly inducted Agniveers carry forward the proud traditions and battle honours of the Madras Regiment, one of the oldest and most decorated infantry regiments of the Indian Army.

The Passing Out Parade marked not only the successful completion of training but also the beginning of a lifelong commitment to duty, honour and service to the nation.
