Lieutenant General P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), visited the Padri Gali area to review the prevailing security situation and ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the region’s robust intelligence network, continuous domination activities and effective inter-agency coordination aimed at maintaining peace and stability. He also reviewed the security arrangements implemented by troops deployed in the area to counter emerging threats and ensure a secure environment for local residents.

The briefing highlighted the coordinated efforts of security forces in sustaining operational effectiveness through intelligence-driven operations, area domination patrols and close cooperation among various agencies.
Interacting with troops deployed in the challenging terrain, Lt Gen Mishra commended their professionalism, operational readiness and unwavering commitment to duty. He lauded the soldiers for maintaining a high level of vigilance and effectiveness despite adverse weather conditions and demanding operational environments.

The Corps Commander appreciated the troops’ dedication towards safeguarding the region and ensuring stability through sustained counter-terrorism efforts and proactive security measures.
Officials noted that the visit underscored the Indian Army’s continued focus on maintaining a robust security posture in the hinterland areas of Jammu and Kashmir through intelligence-led operations, inter-agency cooperation and constant operational preparedness.
