The Attestation Parade of the AV/08 Batch of Agniveers, comprising recruits from the Clerk (CLK), Store Keeper Technical (SKT), Driver Mechanical Vehicle (DMV) and Tradesmen categories, was conducted with military precision at the No. 1 Technical Training Wing, Army Medical Corps (AMC) Centre and College, Lucknow.
The parade was reviewed by Brigadier Saroj Patnaik, Commander, No. 1 Technical Training Wing, who inspected the contingent and congratulated the newly trained Agniveers on successfully completing their rigorous training.

The Attestation Parade marked a significant milestone in the military journey of the recruits, formally inducting them into the ranks of the Indian Army after successfully undergoing intensive military and professional training. The ceremony reflected the transformation of young civilians into disciplined soldiers ready to serve the nation.
Addressing the Agniveers, Brigadier Patnaik commended them for their dedication, discipline and commitment throughout the training period. He praised their perseverance and determination in meeting the demanding standards expected of soldiers of the Indian Army.

The reviewing officer encouraged the young soldiers to uphold the highest traditions and values of the Indian Army and to serve the nation with pride, honour and integrity. He emphasised the importance of professionalism, selfless service and unwavering commitment to duty as they embark on their military careers.
The parade showcased the high standards of training imparted at the AMC Centre and College, one of the Indian Army’s premier training establishments responsible for preparing personnel for a variety of specialised roles.

Family members, instructors and senior military officials witnessed the ceremony, celebrating the successful culmination of the recruits’ training and their transition into active service.
