Keeping pace with the evolving nature of modern warfare, the MOBC-258 curriculum placed special emphasis on developing operationally capable medical officers. The training focused on instilling military ethos, enhancing expertise in Prolonged Combat Casualty Care (PCCC), and providing advanced instruction in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). These specialised skills are essential for delivering life-saving medical care in battlefield environments where immediate evacuation may not always be possible.

The participation of officers from Friendly Foreign Countries underscored the AMC Centre and College’s growing role in promoting international military cooperation and strengthening defence ties through professional military education and medical training.

The landmark ceremony was attended by the proud parents, family members and relatives of the graduating officers, who witnessed the culmination of months of rigorous military and professional training. Their presence added to the significance of the occasion as the young officers embarked on careers dedicated to serving the nation and caring for military personnel in peace, conflict and humanitarian operations.

The successful completion of MOBC-258 reaffirms the Army Medical Corps’ commitment to producing highly trained, operationally ready medical professionals equipped to meet the healthcare challenges of modern military operations while upholding the finest traditions of the Indian Armed Forces.
