Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Gajraj Corps, visited troops deployed in the forward areas of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, and interacted with officers and soldiers during the visit.
The GOC reviewed the overall preparedness and training standards of the troops deployed in the challenging forward areas. He commended the personnel for maintaining high levels of morale, motivation and professionalism while performing their duties in demanding operational conditions.
During his interaction with all ranks, Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla appreciated the contribution of officers and soldiers towards capability development and transformation through the induction and effective utilisation of modern technologies.

The GOC highlighted the importance of continuously adapting to emerging technologies and developing operational capabilities to meet the evolving requirements of the battlefield. He encouraged personnel to maintain high standards of professional excellence and remain committed to continuous learning and training.
Lt Gen Shukla also placed emphasis on the mental well-being of troops, stressing that psychological resilience and a healthy state of mind are essential components of combat effectiveness. He encouraged soldiers to maintain a balanced approach towards their professional responsibilities and personal well-being.
Physical fitness was also highlighted as a key pillar of military effectiveness. The GOC urged personnel to maintain high standards of physical conditioning and sustain the discipline required to operate effectively in challenging terrain and demanding operational environments.
The GOC further emphasised the importance of responsible social media usage and cyber awareness. He urged personnel to remain vigilant about cyber threats, exercise caution while using digital platforms and follow established security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
The interaction also focused on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, reinforcing the importance of ensuring the overall welfare and well-being of personnel serving in forward areas.
