Rashtriya Military School (RMS) Dholpur has been awarded the prestigious Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Trophy for Best Class XII Results for the Academic Year 2025-26, recognising its outstanding academic performance among the Rashtriya Military Schools.
The trophy was received by Lt Col (Dr) Amit Sharma, VSM, Principal of RMS Dholpur, along with a cadet representative during the Annual Principals’ Conference of Rashtriya Military Schools held at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on September 15, 2026.
The conference was chaired by Lt Gen Vipul Shinghal, AVSM, SM, DCOAS (IS&T), and brought together senior military leadership, distinguished dignitaries, eminent alumni and representatives of all five Rashtriya Military Schools.
The award recognises RMS Dholpur’s sustained focus on academic excellence, systematic academic monitoring and holistic development of its cadets. The school has consistently sought to balance strong academic performance with its core military ethos of discipline, leadership and character.
Under the leadership of Lt Col (Dr) Amit Sharma, VSM, who assumed charge as Principal in November 2023, RMS Dholpur has strengthened its academic systems while expanding opportunities for cadets in NDA selections, sports, adventure activities, co-curricular pursuits, skill education and leadership development.
The school has also recorded notable NDA selection results and competitive sporting achievements, along with success in inter-RMS activities such as Model United Nations and the Inter-RMS Pentangular Meet.
RMS Dholpur has progressively incorporated NEP 2020 and contemporary educational practices, with greater emphasis on experiential and skill-based learning. Cadets are provided opportunities through clubs and activities covering AI and Robotics, Software Development, Shooting, Carpentry, Pottery, Arts, Dramatics, Community Service and Adventure activities.

Efforts have also been undertaken to strengthen sporting and learning infrastructure while improving cadet welfare and residential management systems. These initiatives are aimed at providing cadets with an environment that supports their academic, physical and personal development.
The Chief of Air Staff Trophy adds another major achievement to RMS Dholpur’s growing record of accomplishments. The school has also featured prominently in national school rankings and continues to establish itself as a leading government residential institution.
The school leadership attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of cadets, teachers, House Masters, administrative staff, parents and the wider institutional support system.
The achievement reaffirms RMS Dholpur’s commitment to its enduring motto, “Sheelam Param Bhusanam – Character is the Highest Virtue,” and its mission of nurturing academically accomplished, physically fit, disciplined and value-driven young leaders capable of contributing meaningfully to the nation.
